Chunchun
Today, I want to show you a beautiful temple in Korea.
It's in
Gangwondo Chunchun.
Chunchun takes about an hour from Seoul by bus or car,
and it is located east side of Seoul.
But before we go, we should...Eat!
There's a saying in Korea
금강산도 식후경
Even the beautiful mountain goes after the MEAL!
1. Eat
메밀전(Memiljeon)
6000won (5.5 dollars)
Wow, the taste is awesome!
If you take a bite,
you'll be surprised how delicious it is.
To give you the picture,
it's little bit like pizza and Naan(Indian)
but Koreans won't admit that
unless you actually try!

The most famous food in Chunchun
This is unspeakable!
You can either eat it with spicy sauce
or cold soup.
Oh my god, I couldn't help but to 'drink' it all up at the end.
(Koreans actually say that you 'drink' it all up!)

2. Travel
Now let's go to Chungpyeongsa
It was 6th of April,
and the air was fresh.
You see that little bell?
It's called
풍경소리(Pungyeong sori)
which means literally,
Sound of the view.
Beautiful name, isn't it?
Let's go up to the 대웅전(Daewoongjeon).
Downer it says 해우소(Haewooso),
which indicates toilet
But I want to tell you literally what it means.
It means 'where you relieve your worries'
That's why there's a picture of a boy giggling while he...:)
It's soon Budda's birthday,
and that's why there are so many lanterns hanged on the ceiling.
You can also hang your own lantern
with your wish written on the paper.
Look at these colors!
It's called 단청(Dancheong)
How Koreans colored those parts to support the roof.
It always gives me a smile.
I had to return with a boat.
What a beautiful mountain, no?
Mom and I had sweet chestnut while walking back to the boat.
Hand in hand with my mom.
She is Soyang-gang lady.
소양강 처녀
I can say almost all elderly people in Korea
know this song.
Gang means river.
I gave her Americano.
